College-Preparatory Curriculum
in a 21st Century Learning Environment
Lutheran West offers a rich curriculum, providing college-preparatory academic courses and a diverse variety of electives. A core curriculum is supplemented by a robust offering of Honors/AP/CCP courses, which allow students to prepare for collegiate coursework and/or enjoy the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. All curricular areas at Lutheran West are approached with a Christian worldview.
If Honors/AP/CCP courses are not a good fit for a student, courses are available which teach and reinforce the foundational concepts in each subject area.
Students are offered tutoring and support services in areas they may find challenging, and are given proper preparation and instruction for the Ohio Graduation Test.

Elective curriculum offerings provide tremendous depth and variety. Lutheran West offers extensive curricular opportunities in art, music, technology, print journalism, world languages, physical education, STEM fields, and practical arts. In all, Lutheran West offers over 90 distinct courses for our students.
