Mrs. Judy Rolik
Mrs. Rolik, who serves as a guidance counselor at Lutheran West, was born and raised in the Cleveland area. She graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in German and History and earned her Masters degree in Educational Counseling from Cleveland State University. She has spent her entire teaching career at Lutheran West, first as a German and History teacher, and now as a guidance counselor. Judy and her family are active members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake. She hopes to continue her ministry at Lutheran West and be able to do more travelling in the future. She feels blessed by the family and fellowship that exists among the teachers and students at West.
Mrs. Becky Slack
Mrs. Slack serves Lutheran West in its guidance and college advising department. She is also the Dean of The Senney Honors Academy. While attending the University of Mount Union, Mrs. Slack first heard of Lutheran West from recent graduates. Ater graduating from Mount Union with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, she went on to work as an admissions counselor at Heidelberg University. She continued to foster her skills and passion for helping students and families through the college admissions process. Since coming to West, she has greatly enjoyed working as the advisor for the Academic Challenge team and Dean of the Honors Academy. She is an active member of St. Angela Merici in Fairview Park and loves to spend her free time with her family. Mrs. Slack feels blessed to work with amazing Christian leaders and to be able to help students develop in their walk with Christ, looking forward to the impact Lutheran West graduates will have on the world.
