She is originally from Minnesota, where she attended high school at Mayer Lutheran School in Mayer, MN. The oldest of four children, she loves to send time with her family. At Lutheran West, Brittany teaches mathematics and religion and is involved with basketball and track. Ms. Erdmann attends St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake, where she is involved with Bible studies. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing volleyball and basketball, attending Lutheran West athletic games, and spending time with friends.
Mrs. Cindy Scholtman
Lutheran West has been part of Cindy’s life from the beginning. Both of her parents graduated from Lutheran West and sent all five of their children to West for high school. She continued her education at Concordia University in Chicago and graduated with a BA in Secondary Education: Mathematics and Physical Education. She taught math and physical education at Valley Lutheran (Chicago) and Lutheran North (Detroit). She also served as Director of Youth Ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake while taking a break from teaching to raise her children. Now she is at Lutheran West full-time as a math teacher, student council advisor, and helper with athletic boosters. She feels blessed to be able to teach at West and also to have been able to send all of her own children to Lutheran West as well.
Mrs. Scholtman's favorite Bible verse is: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

Ms. Jill Shimek
Jill felt the Lord call her to be a teacher at a very young age. That seed was watered over the years as she attended Lutheran schools as a child and eventually graduated from Lutheran West. She earned a B.A. in Secondary Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in physical education from Concordia University Chicago. She then went on to complete a Masters in mathematics from Cleveland State University. She strives to instill a love of learning, mathematics, and most importantly, a love of the Lord, in all of her students.
