Mrs. Nemeth graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a major in comprehensive social studies and minor in the physical sciences (chemistry and physics). She then received a master's degree in teaching from John Carroll University. She also served as a discovery trainer in the state initiative to increase inquiry teaching in science and mathematics.
She retired from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District after 38 years of teaching, which included middle school Physical Science and Earth Science as well as high school Physical Science and Chemistry. During this time, Mrs. Nemeth also worked as a consultant teacher responsible for middle and high school teacher training as well as creating supplemental materials designed to enhance Ohio test proficiency, parental involvement, and inquiry-based classroom teaching.
Following her retirement, Mrs. Nemeth started once again working with the Cleveland Schools, teaching ballet. She has been married for 37 years to husband David, and the couple has three grown children (all graduates of parochial schools). Mrs. Nemeth onsiders it an honor to now teach at Lutheran West, feeling it reinforces the reasons that her own children attended religion-based schools. She believes focusing on serving God through exemplary actions and serving His community are the only truly fulfilled lives.
