ROCKY RIVER --  The Lady Longhorns battled in the District semi-final game Wednesday night at North Ridgeville High School against Gilmore Academy. The Lancers brought early pressure that put Lutheran West down 24-7 in the first quarter. Although the Longhorns outscored the Lancers 15-4 in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to pull out the victory. Lutheran West ended the 2016 season 18-7. Carleen Ellerbruch led the Longhorns with 11 points.
