ROCKY RIVER --  Balanced scoring and stellar defense turned six deficit in the first quarter into a seven point victory as Lutheran West won its first official game of the year. West was led by sophomore Carleen Ellerbruch who had 11 points and Maddie Thomas who had ten. Abby DeSimpelare had eight.
