FAIRVIEW  --  Lutheran West took on a challenge Saturday afternoon at Fairview. The Lady Longhorns took a 12-9 lead at the end of the first, but their lead disappeared before halftime. Lutheran West battled until the very end of regulation. Lydia Hessler connected on two free throws late in the fourth quarter to seal the Longhorns victory. Raiyah Johnson had 9 for Lutheran West, followed by Maddie Thomas with 8.
