ROCKY RIVER --  This was the first game that Coach Josh Campbell had returned from recovery from his kidney transplant.  It was a great game for him to come back to, as the Longhorns defeated the Brooklyn Hurricanes 35-34 with only a few seconds left in the game.  LW came out and wanted to get this victory and everyone saw it by the way they played.

It was off of an inbound play, with about 3.4 seconds left in the game, where sophomore Kassey Wilkens got fouled and was going to the line to shoot.  The game was tied and the pressure was on.  Wilkens made her first free throw and missed her second.  All the Longhorns had to do now was keep Brooklyn from scoring and they did just that.

Junior Johanna Ragland had one of her best games this season, leading the Longhorns with 10 points while sophomore Abby DeSimpelare was close behind with 8 points. Senior Maddie Jakabcic was in foul trouble during the game and ended up fouling out late in the fourth quarter.

The Longhorns are glad to have Coach Campbell back on the sideline with them.  The Longhorns are scheduled to head out this Wednesday to face the Columbia Raiders
