PAC-12 CONF --
The Lady Longhorns were very excited to show their talent at the Conference meet. They have been looking forward to this meet all year and many of the athletes ran wonderful times.  Senior Becca Coyne came in fourth place in the 100 meter hurdles, running a time of 17.20. Coyne also finished in fifth place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 52.50.  Junior Marissa Spelich finished close behind in the 300 meter hurdles, coming in sixth place, with a time of 55.50.
The relay teams also fared well as the 4x400 and the 4x200 both finished in fifth place. The 4x800 did even better, finishing the race in third place. The team consisted of senior Michelle Britton, juniors Marissa Nuti and Nicole Swanson, and freshman Katie Snable.
Nuti was LW’s lone first place finisher, as she won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.5.

The Longhorn throwers did an awesome job as freshman Johanna Ragland led the team with a second place finish in shot put, throwing a distance of 33'.  Fellow freshman Gabby Schultz finished in fifth place in shot put throwing a distance of 29'5".  Swanson finished in sixth place in high jump, jumping a height of 4'8".
The Women's track team is looking forward to competing in what could be their last meet of the season at districts.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
