Shadow Day Opportunities

We are excited to offer an engaging Shadow Program, designed to give prospective students the opportunity to experience a day at Lutheran West. Typically Shadow Day opportunities are for 8th Grade students, but between April and mid-May, 7th graders are also invited to spend a day shadowing at Lutheran West.

Families of Prospective Students are invited to contact Mrs. Stephanie Zehnder to set up a Shadow Day. We request a scheduling lead time of 5 days if possible. Tuesday and Thursday Shadow Day dates are strongly encouraged to provide students with the opportunity to attend chapel, an integral and important component of campus life.

Unique to the Shadow Day program are “Ambassadors of West”, who are specially trained to host prospective students, making the visit day a fun and informative experience. The Ambassadors are able to answer many of the common questions a prospective student may have, as well as introduce them to other students and faculty members.

While we will consider special requests, we encourage families to allow us to match their student’s interests with our Ambassador Team members.

Parents may request a tour of the school on the day their student shadows.
