West Puts Three Soccer Players on Lutheran All-American Team

What do Ricky Downer, Daniel Hessler, and Nick Vrabel have in common? They are part of an elite team, more specifically; the 2011-2012 Lutheran High School All America boys’ soccer team. In a recent press release from Coach Saleska, men’s coach at Concordia University Wisconsin, the three individuals mentioned above are part of excellence. 65 athletes were chosen from an extensive list of players from around the country.

Daniel Hessler was named to the second team. As a junior, Nick Vrabel was named to the third team. Ricky Downer is the only Lutheran West player to achieve this status two years in row. Ricky was named to the first team “All America” in 2011-2012 and the second team in 2010-2011. Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment.
