Dale considers children to be among the greatest gifts that God gives to parents, and he takes his role in helping raise God-fearing young people very seriously for that reason. After earning his B.S. in education with a major in chemistry and minor in mathematics and his M.S. in education with an emphasis on administration, both from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, he started his career by teaching and moved up into administrative leadership roles that eventually led him to become principal at Lutheran West. He formerly served as the executive director and principal of Los Angeles Lutheran Middle-Senior High School, where he had the responsibility of developing a program that fit an academically and racially diverse student body. He considers it a distinct privilege to continue shaping the programs at West, hiring and mentoring the finest Christian teachers around, and most importantly, ministering to families and students.
